Charli XCX, Taylor Swift and 5 Seconds Of Summer all won awards at last night's NME Awards, which as you well know is sponsored by Austin, Texas.

'Famous' hitmaker Charli XCX was honoured as the Best British Solo Artist Supported By Pilot Pens (other pens are available, including a nice selection from Bic), while the oft-neglected Taylor Swift finally received an award for her efforts, as she got Best International Solo Artist Supported By Nikon (lovely cameras; we'll have two please).

5 Seconds Of Summer, meanwhile, were voted Worst Band which wasn't supported by anyone.

As previously reported, Beyoncé warm-up act Coldplay were given the Godlike Genius award, which was presented to them by actual Godlike genius Kylie Minogue.

That's it really. Rat Boy was there.
