Carly Rae Jepsen is fine about beating off Justin Bieber

  • April 11, 2012
  • Mikey

Carly Rae Jepsen thinks her current chart 'battle' with boss Justin Bieber is just "friendly competition".

Talking to MTV about her recent UK Number One and her ability to beat Bieber to this week's Number One, the 'Bucket' chanteuse said: "The fact that we are able to have that friendly competition is blowing my mind. I wouldn't be here without his support and his help, and he is so great about it. He's just happy for me, which is nice to see."

In a flagrant example of someone misunderstanding the very basic rules of the chart she then went on to say that she and Bieber could "share" the Number One spot.
