Carly Rae Jepsen'This Kiss' hitmaker Carly Rae Jepsen has pulled out of the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree (!) due to the organisation's failure to support gay rights.

"As an artist who believes in equality for all people," Jeppo tweeted earlier, "I will not be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree this summer…"

"I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level and stay informed on the ever changing landscape in the ongoing battle for gay rights in this country and across the globe," she added.

Carly Rae joins Train (!) on the list of acts to pull out of the summer festival thing and you can read about their reasons for doing so here.
