Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City have been named in a lawsuit over 'Good Time'

  • October 31, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Musical risk-takers Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen have been named in a copyright infringement lawsuit over their duet, 'Good Time'.

According to Ace Showbiz, singer All Burnett is claiming the song rips off her own ditty, 'Ah, It's A Love Song', specifically the "unique vocal motif" that repeats in the chorus of both songs and "has a catchy pop vibe that both draws people in and sticks in people's heads."

Burnett has also stated that she's bringing the lawsuit as she's "suffered emotional and psychological damage" over people claiming she in fact copied Jeppo and Owl.

You can have a listen to the songs below.
