Burno Mars has denied he is in fact a homosexual man following an April Fool's Day rumour that got out of hand.
On Sunday a story circulated that Mars had "come out" during an interview with a Chicago radio station.
This was then picked up by CNN's iReport blog which quoted the hat-botherer as saying: "The timing is bad. I hadn't realised it was April Fool's Day, but it's been pointed out to me, and I don't want to go too public with this."
The CNN article has since been taken down and Mars' spokesperson has dismissed the claims as "false", reports Jam! Showbiz.
