Britney Spears' new album is "a little melodic" and "very chill"

  • June 3, 2016

Britney

Britney Spears, the singer, has referred to her forthcoming album as "a little melodic" (fine), "kind of chill" (okay), "very chill" (fair enough) and "a little more not so poppy" (WHAT).

These words and more were said to someone from E! News on the set of her new video for 'Make Me (Oooh)', which we now know does feature G‑Eazy. It also features lots of men with hardly any clothes on.

The video is being directed by David LaChapelle, which is exciting.

But what about the album? Is that exciting?

"It's very exciting," Britney mused. "I've been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It's my baby."

As for what it sounds like: "It's a little melodic, a little more not so poppy. It's kind of chill. Very chill."

Obviously we need to remember what she said in advance of the last one, but fingers crossed.
