Brian Higgins has confirmed he and his Xenomania 'cohorts' have produced Gossip's new album.
Speaking as part of the BBC Introducing Masterclass thing, Higgins said he "wasn't sure if [the recording sessions] would work" following aborted collaborations with bands such as Franz Ferdinand and New Order.
Thankfully Higgins and the band "hit it off" and the first single is now 'ready to go'.
The album was partly recorded in Portland and is apparently "beautiful".
