Beyoncé will receive this year's Billboard Millennium Award

  • May 10, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Sixteen-time Grammy winner Beyoncé is set to receive the prestigious Billboard Millennium Award in recognition of her achievements in music.

The award will celebrate her career as a solo artist as well as a member of girl group Destiny's Child, who split in 2006.

Beyonce has sold over 75 million records worldwide during her fifteen-year career and is due to release her fourth studio album in June.

This all seems a bit unfair on Kelly Rowland but there you go.

The Billboard Music Awards show will feature live performances from acts including the Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez and will air 22nd May on US network ABC.
