Alicia Keys and Pharrell have collaborated on a song for the new Spider-Man film

  • March 12, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

Alicia Keys newA new song sung by Alicia Keys and produced by Pharrell will appear on the soundtrack to The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it's been announced.

'It's On Again' will also feature Kendrick Lamar and is one of the main songs on the soundtrack, which will also feature more music from Pharrell as part of the Magnificent Six (Pharrell, Incubus' Mike Einzinger, Johnny Marr, Junkie XL, Andrew Kawczynski and Steve Mazzaro) alongside Hans Zimmer.

Alicia had this to say about the song when someone wanted some words for a press release:

"I'm very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer," she mused. "This is the next chapter in the 'Spider-Man' legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story — and most importantly — the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary."

So true.

"There’s a little bit of a super hero in all of us," she added.
