In news we can all relate to, Adele has been talking about the moment she nearly hung up on Elton John because she assumed it was a prank call.
"I had no idea who it was and he just started chatting away to me and I passed the phone over to a friend and I was like 'yeah, it's Elton'," she explained on the Adele Live in London special with Matt Lauer (reported here).
"It still cracks me up. It made me think my god, it's another level now."
The Daniel Merriweather collaborator was also asked what she'd do if one of her ex-boyfriends decided to write a song about their relationship.
"I'd fucking shit myself. I'd be mortified," she replied.
That would be some Brits performance.
