5 Seconds Of Summer won a Kerrang! award last night and quite right too

  • June 13, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

5 Seconds Of Summer'Out Of My Limit' hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer 'scooped' the Best International Newcomer award at last night's Kerrang! Awards.

Other winners on the night included Fall Out Boy for Best International Band, persistent guitar botherers Status Quo (basically the Kasabian of their day) walked off with the Kerrang! Service To Rock 'gong', and Popjustice favourites and theistic Satanists Watain 'scooped' the Relentless Award.

You can see the full list of winners right here if you like.

In other news of the blossoming friendship between Kerrang! and 5 Seconds Of Summer, the band have covered Green Day's 'American Idiot' for a cover-mounted CD on this week's edition of the noted racket journal.

Still the best song Busted never recorded.
