xx in the air, we don't care, we love the sound of it

One of the four things we like most* about this very short clip of this xx-sampling tune is that it feels like a bit of a nod back to the 'Rated R' sound.

Which we liked a lot. Well we liked a lot of 'Loud' as well but we liked 'Rated R' more.

As far as the rest of the album goes, here's a really good (if worrying in parts) review from VH1. There are international previews happening right now so expect a landslide of further 'deconstructions' in the next 24 hours. (UPDATE: In fact Neon Limelight have clips here and jolly good they sound too.)

* The other three things are:

1. It's not explicitly about "oh bum me up the arse etc etc etc" sex stuff.

2. There is quite a good vocal bit at 0:22.

3. It is neither a stupid club banger or a stupid ballad.
