What's happening on the Popjustice Almighty?

  • November 15, 2007
  • Popjustice

Wonder no more! We shall tell you.

1. Girls Aloud are at Number One. This is because 'Tangled Up' is fucking brillant. Just to clear up the formatting thing, you can get one version which is normal, one version which is normal and has the same sleeve as the normal one and has a remix CD with it for £1.99 if you buy it only in Woolworths, and one version which doesn't have a remix CD with it but does have a different cover (but the same tracks) if you buy it online (but only from the Girls Aloud website and not as a download). The one with the bonus CD (and the same sleeve as the one without the bonus CD), and the one with the different sleeve (and no remix CD, but the same tracks as the one with the normal sleeve) are both limited edition, but the 'normal' one (which you'll get in all shops except Woolworths and the Girls Aloud website) is the one with the 'special edition' sticker on it.

2.
You cannot go wrong with a bit of Same Difference. On the outside they are wholesome, smiley, happy people. We think that on the inside there is total evil. There is darkness in their souls. AMAZING.

3.
Nice album, nice hair.

4.
We meant to write about Hercules & Love Affair a few weeks ago but we will write about it tomorrow properly. It is one of those Gorillaz-style 'project' things but it is basically extremely good and quite 'disco'.

5.
Some of you are going to be horrified when you hear the new Goldfrapp material but some of you will find yourselves falling even further in love with the band. We are in the latter 'camp'.

So that's what's happening in the Popjustice Almighty.
