Unexpected Instruments In Pop, Part 257

  • September 10, 2013
  • Popjustice

pj_385The big question in pop circles over the last few weeks has been this: after Avicii's banjo-bothering Number One, where could electronic pop music go next?

Also, mirroring the philosophical dilemmas facing those working on the furthest edges of experimental surgery, on a moral level we must ask not just where could it go next, but where should it go next?

Well.

We may have an answer.

And the answer takes the form of 'Start It Over', a song by 'Denny Berland feat Alicia Madison'.

If you are easily shocked or suffer from any sort of heart condition, please look (and listen) away now.

So there you go.

We've checked with Denny Berland feat Alicia Madison's publicist. They're definitely bagpipes.
