Tommy Cash's Danny L Harle-produced X‑Ray is as understated as you'd expect

  • November 22, 2018
  • Popjustice

There are times in life when all you really need is an all-guns blazing, happy harlecore megabanger accompanied by video footage of a religious cult in an octagonal building. And this is one of those times.

TC, as close friends get to call him, sets the tone early on with an Eiffel 65 reference but the star of the show is definitely the "HUGE DANNY" ID at 0:12. In one sense X‑Ray is three minutes and thirteen seconds of absolute nonsense, but in an alltogether more real sense the song feels like the bringing to life of something primal, urgent and honest: something that has been hidden deep within the human psyche for millions of years.

It is concealed no longer. Well done everybody.
