You wouldn't know to look at her now that Leona Lewis has got a bit of Welsh in her. The 'Bleeding Love' video is so American that she may as well be wearing a 'vote Bush' badge. But it's very good nonetheless, even if it does feel like our X‑Factor winner has been hijacked by another continent.
It does seem a little early in her career for her to be appearing in a story driven video in the spooky singing narrator role instead of getting in on the action, but perhaps that is best left to Oscar chasers like Beyonce and wannabe secret agents like Celine Dion.
Here is the 'Bleeding Love' video. It's probably the best ballad of the year.
