The worst audio-visual experience of the 21st Century

Sometimes pop music happens and is so bad that you can't help but think that it will not only provide ammunition for the 'OMG pop is rubbish' brigade for the next three decades but may also be so stupendously chronic that it will tip the balance and inspire the government to make the recording or performance of pop music totally illegal.

One such piece of absolute shit is doing the rounds at the moment and it is a cover of 'Shout' by Shabnam, the fuckwit off Big Brother. This is the video.

Mindful of the fact that, with KylieGate still in full flow*, we might be 'wrong' (apparently) about the Shabnam track and video, we emailed to ask one music telly bigwig what he thought. He said: "besides being an awful version, the video is one of the cheapest, nastiest videos I've ever seen".

He has a point. It's a bit like a Stock Aitken & Waterman video from the late 80s, but without the production values. This might sound slightly harsh and we apologise in advance but let's be honest, it's really difficult to watch — or even listen to — this version of 'Shout' and not conclude that everyone involved in its production, including Shabnam, really is a massive cunt.

Still, at least it's better than the Britney video.

* We think '2 Hearts' is amazing, everyone else thinks it's terrible
