The Newsdump, Jan 29, 2010: from Beyonce being amazing to Cliff Richard's illegal glazing

  • February 1, 2010
  • Popjustice

Eyes down, look in:

» Beyonce won a load of Grammys, as did Taylor Swift. Beyonce is the better of those two female recording artistes, in case you are wondering. (NME)

» Here are some pictures from the Grammys. (BBC)

» Elton John had an eppy at the Grammy rehearsals due to bad spelling on the autocue. Quite right too. (Mirror)

» The Daily Star report that Alexandra Burke intends to "party her ass off" at the Brits. Please be aware that this is a turn of phrase and Alexandra Burke is not actually intending to lose her buttocks through partying, as this would result in all the poo falling out and nobody wants to see that at an awards ceremony. Well 3OH!3 probably do but you get the idea. (Star)

» Bad news for fans of Cliff Richard's conservatory — Cliff Richard has been told to knock down his conservatory. (Telegraph)

That's your lot. Except to say…

» Grimsby has been given the go-ahead to upgrade its fish market. (Fish Update)
