Taken for a ride

  • March 7, 2007

You know we mentioned the new West End Girls 'Suburbia' video in the mailout yesterday? Well, the Girls' video has only been on YouTube since February 27 and already some dodgy indie film maker has ripped it off.

Look at this!

Watch a clip of the ripoff film here.

Now, we're all for YouTube and the 'digital revolution' and everything, and we think it's great that aspiring film makers can shoot some stuff and chuck it online for public consumption, but this is just ridiculous.

We feel quite sorry for the West End Girls, especially after that dodgy British band started nicking all their decent songs. :(
