There's something winningly slapdash about the artwork for the Dizzee & Florence 'You've Got The Dirtee Love' track, which is presently Number One on iTunes following the Brits per­form­ance on Tuesday. Perhaps February 16 2010 wasn't exactly the day single artwork died but this certainly looks like the laziest artwork we've ever seen for a Number One single: you just slap a logo and some text on a screen­grab, don't even bother checking the name of the song, chuck it on iTunes, bish bosh job done.

They should have done this for every per­form­ance.

In fact it would have been quite good if every per­form­ance was on iTunes following broadcast, though we suspect egos and lawyers may have got in the way of what should have been a rather simple-to-organise set of downloads.
