 Like most of you, we're firmly of the belief that the sooner Scissor Sisters PULL THEIR FINGER OUT and GET ON WITH RELEASING THEIR NEW SONGS, the better.

It's strange to think that the first album came out well over two years ago, and tele­visual triumphs like this…

…just aren't enough to keep us happy.

The band's Bestival appear­ance seems some way off, but US blog Stereogum (a bit like Popjustice, except their favourite Stevens is Sufjan instead of Rachel) has a report from one of the Scissors' two weekend shows in New York, where they were playing Elton John-esque new songs like 'Paul McCartney', 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' and 'She's My Man' with the likes of Cher and Kylie in the audience. Obviously.
