Here's a still from Dan Black's 'Alone' video. We think the single's finally out today.
As you can see, Dan is wearing a pair of glasses made to look like a cassette tape. There is also some tape coming out of his mouth.
This is all a bit silly, really, isn't it. We like some of Dan's songs but, let's be honest, if you were to pick one image to sum up the whole scene of pop trying not to be pop / indie trying to pretend to be pop while not being pop, this would fit the bill quite well.
