Kelly Rowland's releasing a song about waiting for the nightbus

  • January 8, 2008
  • Popjustice

The new Kelly Rowland (pictured right, with what appear to be 'black jacks running down her back') video is not for her amazing 'Work' single but it does have some funny bits from a film in it.

A swing and a roundabout right there for you ladies and gentlemen. And so early in the year.

Basically in some parts of the world the new Kelly single is one called 'Daylight' – although what those parts of the world have done not to deserve the amazing Freemasons mix of 'Work' is a mystery.

'Daylight' is one of the better singles in the history of Kelly Rowland. It's about how much she likes going out and how often she forgets to get any sleep, and Travis from the moderately emo Gym Class Heroes helps out.

Here is 'Daylight'. We'd give it 6/10. We'd prefer it if she did another one about children being shot by Marilyn Monroe, cried in the video in front of a 'mural' etc etc, but we'll have to make do.

It's amazing how seamlessly the clips from the new Asterix film fit into the video's own narrative arc, isn't it?

Oh, and in the absense of an 'official' video for the Freemasons 'Work' mix, here is one a fan has bashed together from the original American version.

Is anybody actually interested in Kelly Rowland?
