Eurovision: Denmark gets it wrong, the UK gets it right (but also wrong)

  • February 2, 2009

So the video above this bit of writing is what we're sending to Eurovision — quite a good singer (or at least the best of a bad bunch, a fact so obvious that even the Great British Voting Public couldn't ignore it) doing quite a bloody awful song. So the UK have got it half right, at least.

Denmark were picking their own entry on Saturday night, too. The best entry was 'Lucky Boy' by ex-Junior Senior fella Jeppe Laursen. The song's produced by Private's Thomas Troelsen (who you'll be hearing a lot more from in 2009), who also played keyboards during Jeppe's performance.

We think you'll agree that was incredible in so many ways that it is impossible to even consider beginning to listn them. Unfortunately instead of Jeppe, the act Denmark will be sending to Eurovision is… John Culshaw doing  Ronan Keating.
