Carrie Underwood knows she and Taylor Swift are different and really wants people to know it

  • June 21, 2012
  • Sam Hine

Carrie Underwood realises she and Taylor Swift are different entities.

In an interview with BANG Showbiz (reported by STV here), the country music chanteuse stressed how she and Taylor are "definitely completely different artists".

''I'm a little bit older than she is and I feel like our music's completely different," emphasised the singer, who is playing to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall tonight.

Proving that she has a firm grasp of the word 'different', the Idol alumnus continued by stating that "our songs are definitely different", before aptly concluding that "[Taylor] sings a little bit lighter sometimes and it's just a difference in our brand of country".

And there we have it.
