Jessie J's performing in a branch of HMV as part of this Music is GREAT thing

  • May 11, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

As you must surely know, that Government-instigated Music is GREAT Week thing starts next Monday and to 'celebrate' Jessie J will be singing some songs at HMV's 'flagship' store on London's Oxford Street.

That's not all. Jodie Harsh collaborator Melanie 'Mel' C, who appears with the rest of the Spice Girls on some Music is GREAT DVD of live performances, will also be on hand to introduce Jessie to the 'stage'.

Here's what Jessie told a press release: "I am super proud to be British and I have always loved repping the UK with my music. Its wonderful to celebrate music and I can't wait to kick off Music Is GREAT week."

'Repping'.

Mel had this to say, meanwhile: "We’re so good at music in Great Britain why shouldn’t we celebrate? We’ve produced some of the world’s biggest stars."

If you fancy going down to 'check it all out' then Mel's on at 1:45, with JJ on at 2pm.
