Mononymous popstars Adele and Rihanna are among the frontrunners for this year's Billboard Music Awards.
Adele leads the field with a total of 18 nominations, just one more than apologetic party rockers LMFAO. Rihanna was shortlisted in 13 categories, ahead of Lil Wayne and Lady Gaga, who have 10 nominations 'apiece'.
With awards going for Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Streaming Song (Video), different awards for Top Digital and Radio songs plus three Christian music categories, the Billboard Awards are surely some of the most coveted in the business.
