Cher Lloyd has taken a not-very-veiled dig at Cheryl Cole, saying she'd consider duetting with her former mentor "maybe, if she sang live with me".
Speaking to Real Radio Northwest (quoted here), Cher alluded to Cheryl's reliance on production saying performing live is difficult "'nowadays when you haven't got the nifty little button to press".
When asked if she was suggesting Cheryl uses Auto Tune the singer responded: "'What? Oh no! Never, never ever."
Cheryl seemed to respond to the dig on her Twitter page last night, writing: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly."
The pair have had a frosty relationship since The X Factor finished with Cheryl's "little star" saying last year: "I don’t speak to Cheryl, we don’t speak, we don’t have anything to do with each other, so will everyone stop asking me about Cheryl."
