There are whispers of a Destiny's Child reunion taking place at Glastonbury

  • June 24, 2011

It seems Glastonbury headliner Beyoncé may be taking to the stage with more than her usual back up dancers this weekend.

Rumours are rife that on Sunday she will be joined by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland as part of an impromptu Destiny's Child reunion. Knowles had reportedly invited both her former bandmates to watch her set and 'hang out' during the festival, but Michelle then suggested to Kelly that they perform together, before they both approached Beyoncé with the idea.

Luckily, Beyoncé is said to be 'over the moon' at the prospect of sharing the spotlight again and according to The Mirror, has arranged for both girls to be supplied with Access All Areas passes as well as accommodation.

“One idea is for the two girls to join her on stage towards the end of her set for a medley of their hits," a source told the paper. "But whatever happens, the three girls are getting back together at Glasto and planning on having an absolute ball.”
