New US X Factor judge LA Reid has spoken about his sadness at leaving Def Jam and letting 'his' Rihanna be 'tampered' with.
In an interview with MTV, Reid discussed how difficult it's been for him to adjust to life away from Def Jam and his roster of artists, adding that he was particularly sore about the Rihanna/Britney hook-up announced yesterday. "I don't like anybody tampering with my Rihanna," he joked. "Doesn't matter [what the song sounds like]! I didn't do it."
Reid also reiterated that he's joined the judging panel to find "the next generation of musical talent" and that "you can keep the fame and popularity and all the other stuff that comes with it".
