It's hard to look at those photographs and not wonder what the people who were instrumental in Sugababes' early days — and even their more recent days — think of the pictures. Never mind what the Sugababes (Mutya, Siobhan and Keisha) think — we mean the people who worked on 'One Touch' as an album and as a campaign at London Records, then those who saw something great about the band and signed them to Island, and we mean all those talented stylists over the years who so effectively worked with the band's personalities to ensure that the band, very naturally, were sexy but sophisticated. We mean the management team who helped them along at the start and still work with them today. All those people who did such a brilliant job of making sure the Sugababes had a little bit more class than the others. Is this what they had in mind?
As one Popjustice reader on Twitter put it, "let's not forget the
Sugababes once had a go at Girls Aloud for apparently 'taking their
clothes off to sell records'. Oh how times change".
