Look, we're not saying Ali Love's 'Late Night Session' is a Number One single, but for fuck's sake it deserves to be somewhere higher than Number 125 in the midweek charts. That's not download only, that's the lot — the full, physical, hold-it-in-your-hands release.
He looks nice. He sings well. He is friends with cool people (and the Chemical Brothers). His album is totally amazing and is one of our Top 15 of the year so far. THE SONG IS GOOD!
Something has gone wrong. What is it? As we said, we're not saying this should have flown out of the shops like some sort of cross between 'Candle In The Wind' and 'Umberella', but as of today it's shifted 660 copies.
Anyway, we were recently invited to visit Ali Love's house and we had a lovely time poking through his things. We took some photographs which will be as useful for Ali Love as it will be for you — who knows where he will be living by the end of the month.
