If you've seen McFly on tour recently you may well have encountered My who, along with almost anyone knocking out decent pop tunes these days, is from Sweden.
Her bio states that My grew up listening to Abba then got into Nirvana. Mind you Kurt Cobain loved Abba anyway, didn't he?
Basically all roads lead to Abba and you can kind of hear those influences in My's luxurious, big-chorused debut single 'White Water', which is excellent and premiering below.
There are more big songs to come from My but 'White Water' is definitely enough to be getting on with for the time being. It's out tomorrow, which is nice.
