'You Want The Sun' is the new single from Niki & The Dove's highly splendid 'Everybody's Heart Is Broken Now' album, and they've decided to premiere the song's video right here on Popjustice.
The band have sent us over the following quote so that you know what's going on:
"'You Want The Sun' is our summer tribute with a double meaning — because the title also implies 'to want the impossible'.
We wrote it with inspiration from the short period we lived in LA. We used to love 'chasing the sunset' along the coast, often ending up in Malibu. The lyrics take place on one of those coastal drives: radio blasting, watching the beautiful multicoloured sky while making the choice to hold on or to let go.
Once again we had the honor to work with animators Gustavo Torres and Clara Luzian. A coastal trip Nintendo style with fresh killer moves by Niki dancers! Get your groove on. ?
