Cheryl 'Cheryl' Cole has confirmed that Girls Aloud have indeed split up, which is good to know.
Asked by someone at InStyle (as quoted here) if that TwitLonger wasn't actual confirmation of the end, she said: "No, we've definitely split."
"I know Nadine always said that she never thought we should say out loud the words 'we've split', but at the same time we don't want to mislead the fans," she added.
But surely there will be a reunion in fifteen years time though?
"I hope to God I'm not turning up to Girls Aloud jumping around doing all the routines when I'm 45!"
We'll take that as a maybe.
