S Club 7 might be reforming for a reality TV show that isn't The Big Reunion

  • May 30, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

sclub7According to The Sun, S Club 7 are set to reform for their own reality TV show.

Apparently, with the band having been courted for the next series of The Big Reunion, the management team that 'birthed' them, 19 Entertainment, are now thinking of doing a Steps Reunion-esque documentary thing.

According to a well-placed industry source with connections to the paper, "approaches have been made and it looks like the S Club boys and girls will all jump at the chance to get involved".

"The Big Reunion was such an incredible success the first time round that ITV are currently signing up bands for the second series. S Club were very high on their list but getting them seems to have been scuppered by this latest move," the insider continued.

"To be fair to 19 Entertainment, they created S Club 7 so there’s no reason why ITV should be making a load of money bringing them back together."

"If the show comes off, it will be similar in format to Steps Reunion and will capture the ups and downs of the band as they meet up again and start performing," he/she added.

If Rachel doesn't do it then we're out, but otherwise this could be good.
