Adele has started work on her new album and it will apparently be out "mid-2014"

AdeleApparently Adele started recording her new album on Monday but it won't be out until "mid-2014".

According to a well-placed 'insider' at her record label who knows someone at the Mirror, Adele is currently in a recording studio in London "in lockdown mode" for the next few weeks.

Poor Adele.

"Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she’s now laying down pre­lim­in­ary vocals with backing music and singers," the insider explained.

"The rest of the record will be done in LA. The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs."

Everyone likes a bit of modern jazz, so this is great news. :(
