Miley Cyrus thinks a new Jonas Brothers song about someone getting married is all about her

  • October 19, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Miley Cyrus is fairly certain a new song by the Jonas Brothers called 'Wedding Bells' is all about her because a) she's getting married in the not too distant future and b) she used to date Nick Jonas.

"I don't know who else is getting married…So I feel like that's pretty blatant, it's whatever," she mused to Ryan Seacrest (as quoted here).

"Like I said, everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt and he even introduced that this isn't the way that I am. So, you can't ever hate on someone for writing about something you've been through," she continued.

Mind you, Miley was fully aware that dating such an artist as Nick would lead to her private life being transformed into song: "I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that's a writer. When you're going through things that you're going to end up hearing about it on the radio."

Talking about her own forthcoming album — which she's been working on with Pharrell and Dr Luke — she said she hoped to have a new single out by the end of the year, with another one to follow in the new year and an album out after that.

So now you know.
