Troy Carter thinks Lady Gaga’s a bit like a toddler

Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter has described the ‘Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)’ hitmaker as a “200lb toddler” and compared anti-Gaga protests in Jakarta with the crucifixion, according to Billboard.
Discussing the protests at Lady Gaga’s recent Indonesian show, Carter said: “This is a microcosm. It’s a generational divide. Jesus Christ got crucified. It happens.”
Speaking to the Music Matters conference in Singapore, Carter stated that the Born This Way Ball tour would ‘skip’ any city which might take exception to the ‘I Like It Rough’ singer’s lyrics, rather than make radical changes to the show which might accommodate local attitudes.
However he also complimented Asian audiences. “Asia is a very loyal audience and an audience that really, really loves music,” he said, before adding: “It’s not a passive audience at all… We plan on spending a lot more time here.”
The toddler comparison was made when Carter was asked by a journalist at the conference if he thought Lady Gaga had “made it” yet. If he’d just likened Lady Gaga to a ’200lb Little Baby Jesus’ in the first place it would have saved a lot of time.
