Ke$ha has said a few words about her upcoming album.
The celebrated children's author spoke to Rolling Stone (as shown here) about her new music, claiming: "I want it to be a mix of what works on the radio and what I listen to in my spare time. I'm on a steady diet of T.Rex and Iggy Pop."
"I'm not claiming that it's a rock record," she added, "but as long as it's fucking good, you can call it whatever you want."

The chat also revealed a few titbits of info about a few songs that Ke$ha's been working on with underground producer Dr Luke.
'Die Young' has "a huge electronic synth beat" (how out of the norm), 'Supernatural' was "inspired by a road trip that included a sensual experience with a ghost" (of course) and 'Last Goodbye' is influenced by Neil Young's 'classic' 'For the Turnstiles' and features the lyric "when I was broke, you bought me shoes", which is quite an odd choice really isn't it.
We suppose if you did have no money shoes would be 'up there' with things you need, alongside food, water, clothing and so on, but it's probably best not to give this aspect of the song too much thought.
