Erik Rapp — 'Available'

  • August 7, 2015
  • Popjustice

This is the sort of thing Scandipop would usually cover at least two days before Popjustice but as Darren on Twitter points out Scandipop are currently on holiday so the time is right for Popjustice to STRIKE.

Basically Erik Rapp is best known in Sweden for being on Idol in 2013, having previously represented Sweden in Junior Eurovision. From what Google Translate tells us it looks like Erik made it through to the semis in Idol and he has changed a bit since then. 'Available' appears to be his first single for Virgin and it's a sad and amazing electro‑R&B stormer.

Of 'Available', Erik (again via Google Translate) says: "The new single is an R&B ballad with electronic and pop elements. It feels great that first release and as a basis to stand on. I would of course that the music should have a common thread."

He seems to currently be working on an EP with one of Shout Out Louds as well as the amazing HYENA, so that's good.
