WILL.I.AM_-250x250Pharrell Williams and will.i.am have finally settled this ridiculous trademark dispute thing of theirs, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

As you will no doubt remember, Pharrell tried to register his company I Am Other and i.am was all 'you can't really do that actually' and objected. Then, right, Pharrell was a bit 'well, you can't trademark something like I Am because there are loads of bands with those two words in the title' etc.

Will then brought up Pharrell's other legal matter with 'Blurred Lines' and Marvin Gaye's estate, and the fact that his label is called Star Trak Entertainment, as examples of how Pharrell can't really be trusted when it comes to intellectual property.

Anyway, it's all been sorted out as the two parties have told a judge that they've reached a settlement, at least in principle.

What a relief!
