Sophie Ellis-Bextor would like to work with a lot of people on her next album

  • July 5, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has discussed a fairly comprehensive list of people she'd like to work with in the future.

Bexto told Metro she wants her next 'collabo' to be “quite different”. “It might be fun to work with … someone like Tinie Tempah, just to do something of a different genre," she says. "Rapping with Tinie Tempah would be fun.”

The not-too-picky singer went on: “I’d like to work with someone like Deadmau5 and I enjoy Chase and Status. I have both their albums and they're really great.”

Not content with studio time with Tinie, Mr Chase, Mr Status and Deadmau5, the 'Starlight' hitmaker set her stall out for Calvin Harris too following his 'Make A Scene' production duties. “I’d work with him again whenever, I’m a big fan. He was one of the first people I worked with on the new album. He’s funny, talented and bright, he’s gonna be around for a long time. He was a big influence on the new album."
