Q1 2015 IS GO: Akon's announced details of five (!) new albums

  • January 2, 2015
  • Brad O'Mance

Akon

'Sorry, Blame It On Me' hitmaker Akon has announced details of his new album 'Stadium' — his first since 2008 — and basically he's gone completely mad and will release it in five different formats, each one focusing on a different genre.

In news that seems to reflect some sort of total A&R breakdown, you'll be able to get 'Stadium — Pop', 'Stadium — Euro', 'Stadium — Urban', 'Stadium — World' and 'Stadium — Island', which would be sort of exciting if it wasn't Akon or if this was ten years ago.

Not only that but you can also listen to a song from each variation on his official website as of right now.

If you don't want to faff about too much you can hear them all on one web page thanks to Ultimate Music.

And if you're in a real rush don't worry, we've given each of the five songs a listen and can report that they are all terrible.
