Nicole Scherzinger has signed a new record deal with Sony/RCA.
"We are delighted that Nicole has joined the Sony family," your friend and ours Colin Barlow, President of RCA Records, said in a statement.
(Mind you, Simon Cowell said pretty much the same thing last week on Twitter.)
Colin continued: "She truly is one of the greatest singers in the world and we are very excited by the record she is currently making."
Apparently the album will be out later this year with a single due in the summer. It's being executive produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.
We knew she was in the studio of course.
