EVERYONE CALM DOWN: Katy Perry is a fan of Lady Gaga's and thinks this 'chart battle' business is "healthy".
Having a chat with Carson Daly on AMP Radio, the 'My Own Monster' chanteuse said: "It's all about the music and I really agree with her message. I've always been a fan of hers and I like to see her evolution."
Don't we all.
"I think that it's also nice that we're all in the same kind of cycle together because it really keeps us both on our toes," she added. "It's not that we feel competition, it's that we keep each other on each other's toes and it's a healthy thing."
She also had this to say about her forthcoming album 'Prism' (Warning: features the word "prismatic").
"The reason I call it 'Prism' is because, you know, I was going through a lot of stuff and I finally let the light into my life through many different things and I feel like I let so much light into my life and now I get to share all of the light that I’ve experienced and kind of beam it all…beam it," she sort of explained.
"I sound like an alien! Beam it onto all of my fans through these songs and so I feel very prismatic."
