Jessie Ware wanted to be on Stars In Their Eyes

  • August 20, 2012
  • Sam Hine

Shitting singer and writer of song Jessie Ware wanted to appear on Stars In Their Eyes.

Speaking about who or what inspired her to become a popular singer, Jessie confessed her desire to appear from those famous doors o' doom, saying: "It was Maria McKee's 'Show Me Heaven'. I wanted to do it on Stars In Their Eyes! It's so uncool, but that was the one for me."

"Maybe I'll do a cover of it," she suggested, "It could become a live favourite."

That actually sounds like quite a good idea really.

Jessie also shared that she "hide[s] behind fantasy and imagery" in her songwriting, with 'Wildest Moments' being about her best friend, explaining that "her wildest moment was throwing a mud pie in my face."

Not a euphemism, hopefully.
