Florence Welch of Florence '+' The Machine fame has confirmed that she/they has/have indeed been working on a new album but that she's not quite ready to play any of the songs live as they're not finished.
Asked by the NME backstage at a charity 'gig' if there is some new material to play live at some point, she said the following:
"Yeah. Yeah there is."
There you go.
She also hinted that recording sessions are quite intense.
"It feels really good, actually," she said of being back onstage again. "It feels amazing – there's an amazing choir up there and a harp set up. [It feels like] 'Oh yeah, this! This is what I do' — I'm not hiding in a studio 24 hours a day. It feels good."
