Adele's '21' has now been in the Billboard 200 longer than any other album by a woman

  • April 7, 2017
  • Brad O'Mance

Look, Adele doesn't need any more chart records but she's got one anyway because '21' has surpassed Carole King's 'Tapestry' to earn the most weeks on the Billboard 200 chart for an album by a woman. IN YOUR FACE CAROLE KING.

The album has been in the chart for — wait for it — 319 shitting weeks! 319!! That's one more week than 'Tapestry'. Mind you, she's got a little way to go if she's hoping to surpass the record held by humans with penises given that Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' has been in the chart for 927 weeks.

Blimey.
