The new Mika single is really good. It was great on the album and it is great on its own.
In a lot of ways, the video for 'Happy Ending' does a lot to undo the harm done by 'Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)' and all that other shrieking luminous nonsense we've had to put up with over the past six months. So here is the video for the best Mika single of 2007.

Mika has stolen some visual ideas from Mr Scruff, The C'Mons from the Vauxhall Corsa adverts and a huge chunk of 'Labryrinth' for the vidular clip above but we think most people will turn a blind eye to theft in this instance. It is like a modern-day Robin Hood scenario. Just don't ask him about merry men.
